CYCLONE PROSPECT GROUND MAGNETIC AND RADIOMETRIC SURVEYS WANNA LAKES PROJECT (E69/1929) - WA
Diatreme Resources Limited (DRX) has agreed with Image Resources Limited (IMA) to conduct a collaborative program of detailed ground magnetic and ground radiometric surveys over part of DRX's Cyclone Prospect heavy mineral discovery in the Eucla Basin. The geophysical surveys are perceived by each party to be of benefit to provide further information on the zircon enriched mineralised strands discovered by DRX's recent successful wide-spaced drilling.
The surveys, being conducted in the southernmost part of E69/1920, are expected to commence within the next few days and run for approximately one week. DRX believes that the results will provide quality information on the applicability and cost effectiveness of the techniques in exploring for heavy mineral mineralisation within this remote part of the Eucla Basin.
Survey results will be disseminated to the market at the appropriate time.
DRX is confident that, if the techniques prove successful, further ground magnetic and radiometric surveys may be commissioned in the future to assist the Company locate more enhanced magnetic targets within its tenements.
