HIGH GRADE 4m $@$ 10.1g/t including 2m $@$ 18.7g/t AT RUTHERFORDS FIND, BULLFINCH

Meteoric follows up its exciting results at Wilthorpe (see announcement 4 October 2005) with excellent high grade intersections at Rutherfords Find, Bullfinch.

Meteoric's substantial shareholder (10.3%), Image Resources NL, will retain a 1% gross royalty interest in any production from Bullfinch and Wilthorpe.

A tabular east-west reef dipping 70° to the south has been intersected on five adjacent lines 50m apart over a strike length of 200m.

Hole BRC-20 with an intersection of 4m @ 10.1g/t from 71 to 75m which includes 2m @ 18.7g/t from 72 to 74m, is thought to be a down dip extension of the high grade surface veins with historic production of 308 tonnes averaging 19.5g/t. This very encouraging intersection is open down dip and the adjacent holes, 50m apart are similarly well mineralised with grades varying from 1 to 12g/t down dip from the reef.

The Rutherfords Find workings are situated 8km east of the 1.4M oz Copperhead Mine at Bullfinch.

The Rutherfords Find reef consists of an EW-striking line of old workings over a strike length of 200m. The main workings consist of two old underlay shafts 150m apart, with numerous pits and costeans along the line of the reef. Mostly the quartz is the white opague, laminated variety, but it becomes yuggy and heavily mineralised with pyrite where the old shafts occur.

Up to 1000m of deeper follow up RC drilling is currently being planned to test the extent of these mineralised high grade quartz veins below previous drill holes. The surrounding area has numerous occurrences of high grade veins within granite at Golden Frog (800m) to the north) where 24 samples on the surface averaged 3.9g/t. No modern geochemical sampling has been carried out in this and other areas (under Meteoric's control) and Meteoric will give priority to investigating the potential for further Rutherfords Find style high grade shoots that have extensions at depth.
