TRADING HALT
The securities of Image Resources NL (the "Company") will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 27 May 2009 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, it is requested that the company's quoted securities be placed into a trading halt as from opening of the market at 10.00am AEST today.
This is being requested on the basis that a private placement of funds is being facilitated.
It is requested that the trading halt be granted for 48 hours.
The company will make an announcement in relation to the private placement before the trading halt is lifted.
The company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
