ILUKA BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Iluka Resources Limited (Iluka) today announced that Mr James Hutchison (“Hutch”) Ranck and Mr Greg Martin have been appointed as non-executive Directors of Iluka Resources Limited, with effect from 1 January 2013.
Mr Ranck had a long and distinguished career with DuPont where he held senior management positions in Australia and overseas in finance, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and agriculture. He was Director of Titanium Technologies in Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong for seven years. He retired as Managing Director of DuPont Australia and New Zealand and Group Managing Director for DuPont operations in ASEAN in May 2010. He is currently a non-executive director of Elders Limited and the CSIRO.
Mr Martin has over 30 years’ experience in the energy, utility and infrastructure sectors. He spent 25 years with the Australian Gas Light Company Ltd (AGL), one of Australia’s oldest and largest publicly listed downstream energy companies, including five years as CEO and Managing Director between 2001 and 2006. After leaving AGL, Mr Martin spent two and a half years as CEO of the infrastructure division of Challenger Financial Services Group. More recently, Mr Martin was the Managing Director of Murchison Metals Limited. His other ASX listed non-executive director roles are with Santos Limited and Energy Developments Limited.
With these appointments, Iluka has a Board comprising one executive and seven nonexecutive directors.
