General Manager - Investor Relations

Iluka today announced the appointment of Dr Robert Porter as General Manager - Investor Relations. Robert replaces Mr Geoff Wedgwood who has resigned to pursue career opportunities outside Iluka.

Dr Porter is a highly experienced investor relations professional with extensive experience across the mining and resources sector, having been Vice President Investor Relations for BHP for six years prior to positions at Southcorp and Foster's.

Dr Porter's appointment will be effective 14 November 2005.
