("Ilika" or the "Company")
Award of Share Options, Exercise of Options and Total Voting Rights
Ilika (AIM: IKA), a pioneer in solid-state battery technology, announces that on 26 March 2020 it granted nominal value options over 1,185,440 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to Executive Directors under the Long Term Incentive Plan 2018.
The options represent in aggregate 0.86 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
On 26 March 2020, the Executive Directors also exercised, in aggregate, 57,846 options, previously awarded over Ordinary Shares under the Company's bonus scheme, at an exercise price of 1p per Ordinary Share.
Accordingly, the Company has applied to the London Stock Exchange for 57,846 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will occur at 8.00am on 1 April 2020.
Following Admission, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 138,597,312 Ordinary Shares of 1p each and may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
PDMR Dealings
Details of the Executive Directors' option exercises under the Company's bonus scheme and grants issued under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan 2018 are set out below. Each award vests on the achievement of certain performance targets over a three-year period.
