Mr. Rick Christie to retire as IKE Chair
ikeGPS Group Limited (ASX/NZX:IKE) or IKE, the company setting the standard for collecting, managing and analysing pole and overhead asset information for electric utilities, communications companies and their engineering service providers, announces that Mr. Rick Christie will step down as Chair at the end of October 2021, after serving more than seven years in the role and since IKE was listed on the NZX. He will, however, remain as an Independent Director of IKE until March 2022.
Mr. Alex Knowles, currently serving as Deputy Chair and Non-Executive Director, will replace Mr. Christie as Chair. Mr. Knowles, along with Mr. Christie is also an inaugural Non-Executive Director at the time of IKE's NZX listing. Alex is based in Los Angeles, CA, where he owns and manages companies and investments in the technology and logistics sectors.
Glenn Milnes, IKE's CEO and Managing Director, commented, "I'd like to thank Rick for his considerable input, support, and commitment to the IKE vision. He has been an integral part of our strategic transition from an early stage hardware-centric company to the recurring subscription & transaction-based solutions business that we are today. Thank you, Rick."
Alex Knowles commented, "My thanks also to Rick. Today, IKE has high revenue growth and momentum, a real brand presence in an important North American infrastructure sector, and a strong balance sheet. On behalf of the Board, I wish to thank him for his leadership.”
