MS TRACE ARLAUD APPOINTED NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

IGO Limited (ASX:IGO) (IGO or the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of highly experienced mining executive Ms Trace Arlaud to its Board as an independent Non-executive Director. Trace’s appointment is effective 29 August 2022.

IGO’s Chair, Mr Michael Nossal, said the Company was delighted Trace had accepted the invitation to join the board.

“Trace is a highly regarded senior mining executive, having held board and senior executive positions in a wide range of companies bringing an impressive set of skills, knowledge and experience to the IGO Board. In particular, Trace brings strong operational and underground mining expertise, and a demonstrated track record of innovation and achievement in the implementation of new mining technology. Importantly, Trace’s values and sense of purpose are very much aligned with our own and we look forward to Trace joining the IGO team.”

Background on Trace Arlaud (BSc Hons Geology and Geophysics, Grad Dip Mining, M.Eng Mining)

Trace is a senior mining executive with over 28 years’ experience in the management of mining and site operations and large engineering projects. She has held executive management and board positions at companies including Rio Tinto, JDS Energy and Mining, Hatch Associates, McIntosh Engineering/Santec, PT Freeport Indonesia, WMC Resources and Normandy Mining, and is currently CEO of underground mining specialist, IMB and serves as non-executive director on the boards of Global Atomic Corporation, Seabridge Gold Inc and Imdex Limited. Trace has particular experience in underground mine planning and operations and has a significant track record in complex underground mining operations and an acute understanding of the associated safety risks.
