RETIREMENT OF KELLY ROSS AS A DIRECTOR

Independence Group NL (“IGO” or the “Company”) wishes to advise that, after 13 years of service, nonexecutive director and former Executive Director and Company Secretary, Kelly Ross is retiring as a director of the Company effective from the close of business on 24 December 2014. Kelly was actively involved in the successful transition of the Company from a junior explorer to a diversified mining company with a market capitalisation of approximately $1billion today.

“The Board and management would like to thank Kelly for her significant contribution to the Company and would like to express our gratitude to Kelly for her commitment and service,” IGO Chairman, Mr. Peter Bilbe said. “Kelly played an important role in the listing and management of the Company up to 2011, and as an executive and non-executive director since 2002.
