APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

Independence Group NL (“Comp a ny”) (ASX: IGO) is pleased to announce the ap p ointment of Mr Adrian Di Carlo as Company Secretary of t he Company, as former Company Secretary Mr Terry (KT) Bourke’s employment with the Company has ended.

Mr Di Carlo is a Chartered Secr e tary who works for a company secretarial se r vices firm. Mr Di Carlo’s appointment is expected to be an interim appointment, until such time the Comp a ny appoints a permanent Company Secretary.

The Company would like to thank M r Bourke for the contribution he has made to the Company and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
