2015 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING EXTENSION

At Independence Group NL’s (“IGO” or the “Company”) request, the Australian Sercurities and Investments Commission (“ASIC”) has granted IGO an extension of approximately 2 weeks to the period within which IGO must hold its annual general meeting for the year ended 30 June 2015 (“AGM”).

IGO sought the extension to ensure that it has sufficient time to prepare for the AGM given the upcoming completion of the Sirius acquisition scheme and the number of integration activities underway. The Company considers that its first AGM following completion of the Sirius acquisition scheme is an important forum and the extension will provide sufficient time to ensure the AGM is prepared for and conducted in a manner which is of maximum benefit to existing IGO shareholders and those former Sirius shareholders who become IGO shareholders under the Sirius acquisition scheme.

As a result of the extension granted by ASIC, the latest date on which IGO can hold its AGM is 16 December 2015. IGO will notify shareholders of the specific time and location of the AGM in due course.
