APPOINTMENT OF NEW GENERAL MANAGER TO LEAD VICTORIAN TURNAROUND AND TRANSFORMATION

Ignite Limited [ASX: IGN] (Ignite) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Cyrus D’Cruz as its new General Manager for Victoria.

With over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment, human resources, technology and professional services sectors, Cyrus is an accomplished senior executive with a diverse range of skills and a strong track record of building high performing recruitment teams in Australia and New Zealand.

Initially beginning his career in engineering, Cyrus entered the recruitment industry in 1996 and has worked for several well-known recruitment firms, where he grew and led large and successful teams.

Having run his own consultancy firm, Cyrus brings a wide range of executive and leadership skills, specialising in talent and business strategy, organisational development, staff engagement, sales strategy and leadership as well as recruitment sourcing strategies.

Cyrus holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) with Honours from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Cyrus said “The opportunity to join the Ignite leadership team and lead the turnaround, transformation and growth of the Victorian operations was an opportunity that greatly appealed to me. I look forward to ensuring Ignite’s Victorian operations becomes a significant contributor to the broader Ignite business success.”

Ignite Executive Chairman, Mr Garry Sladden said “Cyrus’ appointment to lead the Victorian operations and join the Ignite leadership team brings significant recruitment industry experience and executive skills. He has a very strong understanding of the Victorian market in which we operate and will build upon our existing vertical specialisations. Over time we expect Cyrus to develop new areas of expertise and teams to expand our local and national specialist recruitment services.
