APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
Clarius Group Directors are delighted to announce the appointment of Gabrielle Trainor as an Independent Non‐Executive Director to the Board.
Ms Trainor has a twenty year record as a director of a wide range of public and private entities. She is a director of Infrastructure Australia and the Barangaroo Delivery Authority. She is a member of the Central Sydney Planning Committee, a member of the board of trustees of Western Sydney University and the Council of the Australian War Memorial. She is Chair of the National Film & Sound Archive and Barnardo’s Australia and serves on the boards of a number of other not for profit organisations Her background is as a lawyer, newspaper journalist, public sector executive and consultant, primarily to top 20 ASX‐listed entities and to ASX Limited.
She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Honorary Associate in the Graduate School of Government at the University of Sydney. Her biography is attached.

Gabrielle Trainor is a non-executive director and advisor whose experience covers over twenty years on boards in the public and private sectors ranging from infrastructure, urban development, public transport, tourism, construction and mining contracting, hospitality, sports, arts and culture, indigenous advancement and welfare.
Ms Trainor is a member of the board of Infrastructure Australia and the Barangaroo Delivery Authority. Her other current appointments include as a member of the Central Sydney Planning Committee and the Council of the Australian War Memorial, a member of the Board of Trustees of Western Sydney University, a trustee of the Charlie Perkins Education Trust, a director of the GWS Giants AFL club, Business Events Sydney and agenda-setting indigenous organisation, Cape York Partnership. She is a former member of the advisory board of Leighton Contractors.
She is Chair of the National Film and Sound Archive and Barnardo's Australia.
Her background is as a lawyer, newspaper journalist, public sector executive and consultant in issues management, public policy and corporate affairs, primarily to top 20 ASX listed entities and ASX Limited itself.
She co-chaired a Federal Government review of the Australia Council for the Arts and is the chair of the Barangaroo Arts and Culture Panel. She was recently a member of a threeperson team of international independent experts to review a critical food safety incident for the world’s largest dairy co-operative.
Ms Trainor has more than 20 years’ experience as a director of public, private and government entities, including the NSW State Rail Authority, Rail Access Corporation, State Transit Authority, VicUrban, the Australian Sports Drug Agency and the Melbourne World Swimming Championships. She was Chair of Best Western Australia and a director of infrastructure company, Power Facilities, and of Infrastructure Partners Investment Fund.
She is a former Churchill Fellow, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Honorary Associate in the Graduate School of Government at the University of Sydney. She is member of Chief Executive Women. Gabrielle is a pre-qualified independent chair and member of audit committees under the NSW government scheme and sits on the audit committee of the NSW Office of Sport and Venues NSW.
