Candle Australia Limited appoints Diana Eilert as Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Candle Australia Limited is pleased to announce that it has appointed Diana Eilert as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 30, 2007.

Diana is an experienced senior executive with extensive experience in banking, insurance, information technology and professional services.

Prior to joining Candle, Diana held Group Executive roles with Suncorp - running the entire General Insurance business for 3 years and more recently People, Technology, Marketing and Joint Ventures for the Group. Diana has also worked as Partner with IBM and Principal with AT Kearney and held senior management roles with Citibank and NRMA.

She holds Batchelor of Science and Master of Commerce Degrees.

Diana’s leadership skills, experience in driving profitable growth and ability to work across a broad range of sectors will enable Candle to continue its strong performance.

After a brief transition period, Diana will also replace Robert Collins as Managing Director. Robert will remain involved at Candle focusing on acquisitions.
