IDEX Appoints Stan Swearingen to the Strategy Advisory Council
Oslo, Norway, 9 May 2016: IDEX announces the appointment of Stan Swearingen to
the Strategy Advisory Council, and as a strategic consultant. The Strategy
Advisory Council advises the company on market, technology and strategic trends
in the rapidly developing mass market for fingerprint sensors.
Stan Swearingen is an industry veteran with a very strong record of
accomplishment. His experience includes roles as former SVP & CTO at blue chip
semiconductor companies Atmel and Synaptics. Stan has over 30 years' experience
in semiconductors, solutions for smartphones, and biometrics. At Synaptics Stan
was instrumental in formulating the biometric fingerprint strategy, including
the acquisition of Validity.
Larry Ciaccia, Chair of the IDEX Strategy Advisory Council, commented: "Stan
