Cavaillon, August 24, 2016 – Following the preliminary agreement signed on 27 June 2016, ID Logistics is today announcing that it has finalized the acquisition of Logiters, a leading contract logistics operator in Spain and Portugal (revenues of €250 million in 2015, 50 warehouses and 3,300 employees).
By acquiring Logiters, ID Logistics pursues its international growth strategy by strengthening its leadership position in Europe.
The Group is adding some high-potential business segments to its customer portfolio, such as healthcare / pharmaceuticals and automotive, while consolidating its leading market position on the traditional FMCG and retail sectors.
With the acquisition of Logiters, ID Logistics is bolstering its positioning as a contract logistics pure player, providing its existing and future customers an extensive and innovative range of services at a pan European scale.
The combined entity leverages on 275 facilities in 16 countries, representing more than 5 million square meters in operation, with a workforce of 18,500 employees.
