Dismissal of the Petitions Regarding the Israeli Government Plan for Mining at the Barir Field

Note 6 of the Company's financial statements for Q2, 2021, provides disclosure regarding the plan for mining phosphates in Barir field (within the framework of NOP 14B). The Company hereby updates, that the Israeli High Court of Justice dismissed the petitions that were filed by Arad Municipality and other regional municipalities regarding the said mining plan and its alleged influence on public health.

דחיית עתירות בעניין תכנית המתאר הארצית לכרייה בשדה בריר

בהמשך לביאור 6 לדוח הכספי של החברה לרבעון ,2 ,2021 בעניין תכנית הכרייה של פוספטים בשדה בריר )במסגרת תמ"א 14ב(, החברה מעדכנת, כי בית המשפט הגבוה לצדק בישראל החליט לדחות את העתירות שהוגשו אליו על-ידי עיריית ערד ועל ידי מועצות אזוריות אחרות, בעניין תכנית הכרייה כאמור והשפעתה, לכאורה, על בריאות הציבור.
