Denial of Applications to Join an Administrative Petition Opposing the "Lachish" Plan near the Ashdod Port in Israel
Further to the Company's immediate report from August 20, 2019 (Ref. No: 2019-02-072009), regarding the application that was filed by its subsidiaries: Rotem Amfert Negev Ltd., Dead Sea Works Ltd. and Bromine Compounds Ltd., to join the petition that was filed by the Manufacturers Association of Israel with the Be'er Sheva District Court in May 2019, against the decision to approve a plan for the construction of a residential area in proximity to the Ashdod Port and facilities thereof (the "Petition"), and following additional applications to join the Petition that were filed by other parties (collectively: the "Applications"), the Company hereby reports that today the Court informed of its decision not to accept the Applications. Nevertheless, the Petition will proceed as usual.

דחיית בקשות הצטרפות לעתירה מנהלית נגד תוכנית ״לכיש״ בסמוך לנמל אשדוד
בהמשך לדיווח המיידי של החברה מיום 20 באוגוסט 2019 )מס' אסמכתא: 2019-02-072009(, בקשר עם בקשת חברות הבת, רותם אמפרט נגב בע"מ, מפעלי ים המלח בע"מ ותרכובות ברום בע"מ להצטרפות לעתירה שהוגשה על ידי התאחדות התעשיינים בישראל, נגד ההחלטה לאשר תכנית להקמת שכונת מגורים בסמיכות לנמל אשדוד )"העתירה"(, ולאחר שהוגשו לבית המשפט בקשות הצטרפות נוספות על-ידי גורמים נוספים, החברה מדווחת כי בית המשפט הודיע כי אינו מקבל את כלל בקשות ההצטרפות כאמור. יחד עם זאת, העתירה בעינה עומדת.
