Allana Afar Tax Assessment

Further to Note 8 of ICL's (the "Company") financial statements for the second quarter of 2016, the Company hereby reports that the Review Committee of the Ethiopian Tax Authority has rejected Allana Afar's appeal and validated the tax assessment in the amount of about \$55 million. As at June 30, 2016, the Company has booked a provision in the amount of \$27 million as part of the acquisition cost. The Company is contemplating the range of possible actions.

אלאנה אפר – שומת מס

בהמשך לבאור 8 לדוחות הכספיים של כיל )להלן: "החברה"( לרבעון השני של שנת ,2016 מבקשת החברה לדווח כי ועדת הביקורת של רשות המס באתיופיה דחתה את ערעורה של אלאנה אפר ואישררה את שומת המס בסכום של כ55- מיליון דולר. נכון ליום 30 ביוני ,2016 ביצעה החברה הפרשה בסך של 27 מיליון דולר כחלק מעלות הרכישה. החברה בוחנת את מכלול האפשרויות העומדות בפניה.
