Transaction in own shares

Ibstock plc ('Ibstock' or the 'Company'), announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 21 April 2022 ('Share Buyback Programme'), the Company purchased the following number of its Ordinary Shares of £0.01 each ('Ordinary Shares') through Peel Hunt LLP (the 'Broker'). The purchased shares will be held in treasury.

Following the purchase of these shares, Ibstock holds 9,458,919 of its Ordinary Shares in treasury and has 400,172,675 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). The total voting rights in the Company will be 400,172,675. The figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
