Application for Admission

Ibstock plc (the Company) hereby announces that an application has been made to the United Kingdom Listing Authority (UKLA) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE) for the admission to the Official List of the UKLA and trading on the main market of the LSE of:

(a) 49,122 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company with a par value of £0.01 per share issued pursuant to the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan; and

(b) a block issue of up to 288,543 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company with a par value of £0.01 per share following any exercise by the employees of the options granted pursuant to the Company's Share Option Plan (together with (a) above, the Awards).

Admission is expected to become effective on 11 January 2016. When issued, these shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

The Long Term Incentive Plan and Share Option Plan were approved at the General Meeting of the Company's Shareholders held on 21 October 2015. The Remuneration Committee of the Board approved and granted the Awards in its committee meeting held on 4 December 2015. The making of the Awards and related matters were authorised by the Company's Board in its meeting held on 16 December 2015.
