Board Appointments

The Board of Ibstock plc ('Ibstock' or the 'Company'), a leading manufacturer of clay bricks and concrete products with operations in the United Kingdom and the United States, is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Read as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 January 2017.

Justin is currently Group Finance Director of Segro plc, a position which he has held since August 2011. He will retire from the Board of that company on 31 December 2016. Justin was Group Finance Director of Speedy Hire plc between April 2008 and August 2011.

Upon appointment Justin will join the Board's Remuneration Committee, Audit Committee and Nomination Committee.

The Company confirms that there are no details to disclose under paragraph 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules in relation to the appointment.
