ALTERNATE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

Triple Energy Limited (ASX: TNP, Triple or Company ) advises that Mr. Siew Chun Fai (Edward) has been appointed as an Alternate Director for Mr. Cheng Ming Kit (Tommy), Triple’s Chairman.

An ASX Appendix 3X “Initial Director’s Interest Notice” for Mr. Siew accompanies this announcement.

Mr. Siew is the Financial Controller of Beijing Gas Blue Sky Holdings Limited, the Hong Kong-listed parent company of the Beijing Gas Blue Sky Power group of companies (BGBS) (Hong Kong Stock Code: 6828). BGBS Group is Triple’s largest shareholder, with 19.2 million shares.

Mr. Siew holds a Bachelor degree in accounting from the University of Western Sydney, Australia and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Australia, Australia. Mr. Siew is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, CPA Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining BGBS Group in August 2014, he had held various senior positions in certain listed and private companies in Hong Kong.

Concurrent with the appointment of Mr. Siew, Mr. Tam Man Kin (Raymond), who is the Chief Financial Officer of BGBS, has resigned as Alternate Director. The Board of Triple extends their thanks to Mr. Tam for his significant efforts and contribution to the Company during his tenure as Alternate for Mr. Cheng since April 2017.
