RESIGNATION OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Triple Energy Limited (ASX: TNP, Triple , or Company ) advises that Rodney Bresnehan has notified the Company of his resignation as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from today’s date.
Mr. Bresnehan was appointed to the Triple Board as a nominee of CFT Holdings (HK) Ltd, vendors of the Company’s interest in Heilongjiang Aolong Energy Co. Limited on 7 February 2013. Mr. Bresnehan is a Director and Shareholder of CFT Holdings (HK) Ltd. The Board has formed a view that a potential conflict exists between Mr. Bresnehan’s directorship of the Company and his other business dealings in China. Mr. Bresnehan has notified the Board of his resignation.
As previously advised, a process to identify a suitably qualified independent non-executive technical director is underway and the Company will provide further updates in due course.
