APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Triple Energy Limited (ASX: TNP, Triple , or Company ) advises that Mr. Greg Meldrum is to be appointed to the Board of Triple Energy Ltd as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 27[th] November 2013.
As previously advised, Triple has now completed a process to identify a suitably qualified independent non-executive Technical Director.
Mr. Meldrum is a Petroleum Geologist with a Major in Geology from the University of Newcastle, NSW. He has over 40 years experience in Australian and international oil and gas exploration and development.
He has worked for major companies such as Esso, Burmah Oil Company, Marathon Petroleum, Apache Energy and Japan Australia LNG as well as in his own right as a consultant. He was also Technical Director and Board member for Petro Matad Ltd, a London Stock Exchange listed company.
Mr. Meldrum has been working as a Technical Consultant for Triple for the past 2 months assisting in planning the 2014 work programme, as well as reviewing, evaluating and collating the available data. Consequently, he is very familiar with the project in Heilongjiang Province, China.
The Board welcomes Mr. Meldrum to the Board and looks forward to his future contribution to the Company and its current project.
