13 January 2009: BrainZ Instruments Limited (ASX:BZI) (“BrainZ”) wishes to notify the market that following the expiration of his notice period Richard Smith is now no longer acting as CEO of BrainZ Instruments Ltd. BrainZ thanks Richard for his substantial efforts and assistance during the process of sale of our business assets. The transfer of assets to Natus Medical Inc (NASDAQ: BABY) is now at an advanced stage, and the remaining BrainZ employees will be completing their notice periods around the end of January 2009. Dr. Damian Pethica will now take on the role of Executive Chairman.
