Earnings before taxes (EBT) EUR 5.32 m.(previous year EUR 9.18 m.) Net income: EUR 3.46 m.(previous year EUR 5.0 m.) Dividend recommendation: 0.70 Euro per share (previous year EUR 0.70) The revenues dropped due to the continuous fall of the unit prices; as a result sales reached EUR 61.6 m. (previous year EUR 82.7 m.) The volatile USD led to the stop of exports. Nevertheless, Hyrican gained earnings before taxes in the amount of EUR 5.32 m. (previous year EUR 9.18 m.) The annual surplus was EUR 3.46 m. (previous year EUR 5.0 m.). The equity ratio amounts to 71%. The cash and cash equivalents were EUR 20 m. on the balance sheet date 31.12.2004. (previous year EUR 19.5 m.). Despite the intense competition Hyrican AG could complete the financial year 2004 positively and gain a solid annual result in the financial year. The executive board will recommend a dividend of 0.70 Euro (previous year EUR 0.70) per share for the 2004 financial year to the supervisory board and the shareholders’ general meeting on April 29th. Outlook: For 2005 we expect the same economic climate, but hope to reach our objectives at a higher scale. It is still our philosophy to acquire only those projects contributing positively to our company. With new customers, products and services our objectives should be reachable.
