Publication of "Bluffer's Guide to Hydrogen"
HydrogenOne, the first London-listed fund investing in clean hydrogen for a positive environmental impact, today announces the publication by its Investment Adviser, HydrogenOne Capital LLP, of its 2023 "Bluffer's Guide to Hydrogen".
The "Bluffer's Guide" is intended as a starter information pack for the complex and rapidly evolving hydrogen sector.
JJ Traynor, Managing Partner of HydrogenOne Capital LLP, commented: "When we launched HydrogenOne Capital LLP in 2020, we were tracking 20 listed and 50 private hydrogen companies, and c.200MW of operational green hydrogen projects in production. The hydrogen sector has accelerated rapidly since 2020. Today, we are monitoring some 40 listed and over 200 private hydrogen-focused companies, c.800MW of operational green hydrogen projects, and 13GW of projects in development. The market has invested $13 billion of fresh capital since 2020 in the hydrogen theme, with a capital opportunity on the table of at least $300bn to 2030".Richard Hulf, Managing Partner of HydrogenOne Capital LLP continued: "we believe that the clean hydrogen industry is investable now and is gathering momentum. Over the past couple years, there have been strong developments in the clean hydrogen industry. We anticipate a 200x increase in clean hydrogen supply 2019-2030, and potentially 20% of the energy mix by 2050."
