New Head of Supply Chain

Thomas Andersson has been appointed Executive Vice-President of Husqvarna AB and Head of the Group's supply-chain organization. He will report to President and CEO Magnus Yngen, and will be a member of Group Management.

The supply-chain organization comprises the Group's production, purchasing and logistics.

Thomas Andersson is currently Senior Vice President and Head of Volvo Powertrain Sweden. Volvo Powertrain is the Volvo Group's business unit for development and manufacturing of engines and transmissions.

Thomas Andersson, 43, has held various leadership positions within Volvo Car Corporation since 1988, and has an MBA from Henley College. He will assume his new position during the first quarter of 2010.
