Proposed appointment of non-executive Director

Hunting PLC (LSE:HTG), the international energy services group, today announces the proposed appointment of Paula Harris as a new independent, non-executive Director of the Company.

Ms Harris' appointment is to be submitted for shareholder approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM") to be held on Wednesday 20 April 2022. Details of Ms Harris' experience and skills, as required by the 2018 UK Corporate Governance Code, will be summarised within the Notice of AGM to be published on 17 March 2022 and will also include the reasons for appointment, as determined by the Nomination Committee and the wider Board.

Subject to shareholder approval, Ms Harris will join the Board from the date of the AGM.

Ms Harris spent over 33 years with Schlumberger Ltd, the international oilfield services group, before retiring in 2020. Educated as a petroleum engineer at Texas A&M, Paula worked in offshore field operations before progressing into leadership roles in training, sales and ultimately, in environmental-social sustainability. Prior to her retirement, Paula was Schlumberger's Director of Global Stewardship.

Ms Harris is a US citizen and is currently a Director of Chart Industries Inc. and is also senior vice president, Community Affairs, for the Houston Astros.
