Badger Explorer ASA - New Member of the Management Team

Badger Explorer ASA ("BXPL") has the pleasure of announcing the

appointment of Dr. Wolfgang Mathis as BXPL's Product Manager.  

Dr. Mathis (35, Austrian citizen) holds a MSc in Petroleum Engineering

from the University of Leoben, Austria. During his university education

Mr. Mathis studied one year at NTNU, Trondheim specializing in Drilling

Engineering before finalizing his studies with his master project at

Shell in Rijswijk, The Netherlands. In 2003 he joined the oil industry

with TDE Thonhauser Data Engineering publishing several publications on

drilling process optimization and obtaining his PhD in Drilling

Engineering in 2007 whilst working full time. Dr. Mathis joined Badger

Explorer ASA in October 2007 after having worked on several projects

around the world since 2003.

I am convinced that he will further strengthen BXPL's organization

through this position and enhance the progress of the development. His

main focus and responsibility will be on continuous testing and

developing the Badger Explorer in close contact with the market and

according to customers' needs by providing valuable applications," says

Kjell Erik Drevdal, President and CEO of Badger Explorer ASA.

The Badger Explorer technology is a revolutionary new method to explore

for and map the extent of hydrocarbon resources. The Badger Explorer

drills and buries itself into the underground at a substantial lower

risk, cost and complexity compared to utilizing an expensive drilling

rig. BXPL proudly announced the successful groundbreaking demonstration

of the Badger Explorer concept at the end of April 2010.
