HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. (the 'Bank') announces that Maria Micallef has resigned from the post of non-executive Director, and from her positions on the Audit Committee and Remuneration and Nomination Committee of the Bank, with effect from today, 26 August 2025.

There are no matters concerning Ms Micallef that warrant any disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules.

The Board of Directors expresses its sincere gratitude towards Ms Micallef for her valuable insight and meaningful contributions, which have left a positive impact on the Bank. The Board of Directors wishes Ms Micallef continued success in her future endeavours.

The Bank will announce Ms Micallef's replacement at the appropriate time.
