The following is a Company Announcement by HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. in compliance with the Capital Markets Rules issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. (the 'Bank') announces that Ms Terecina Kwong has relinquished her post of non-executive Director of the Bank with effect from 11 June 2024. The Board of Directors expresses its gratitude towards Ms Kwong for her valuable input and service to the Bank. There are no matters concerning Ms Kwong that warrant any disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules.

The Bank further announces that the Board, in terms of the Bank's Articles of Association, has appointed Dr Louis Cassar Pullicino as non-executive Director with effect from 11 June 2024 to fill the casual vacancy on the Board following Mr John Bonello's retirement which was announced by Company Announcement HSBC435 on 23 April 2024. Dr Cassar Pullicino resides at 4, Villa San Lorenzo, Triq Idmejda, Balzan. Regulatory approval for the appointment of Dr Cassar Pullicino has been obtained.

Dr Cassar Pullicino is a Consultant at Ganado Advocates. He is an experienced litigator specialising in commercial litigation, who is particularly active in admiralty and shipping, banking, corporate, insolvency, insurance, telecommunications, pensions and contractual disputes with an international dimension. For over 30 years, Dr Cassar Pullicino has been advising numerous banking institutions and has been involved in the market's most complex marine and commercial litigation cases.

In June 2015, Dr Cassar Pullicino was appointed Managing Partner at Ganado Advocates with a vision to continue driving the success achieved by the firm over the years. As his role of Managing Partner came to an end in March 2021, Dr Cassar Pullicino continues to focus exclusively on litigation and international arbitration.

He obtained his Doctor of Laws (LL.D) in 1986 from the University of Malta.

There are no matters concerning Dr Louis Cassar Pullicino that require disclosure under Capital Market Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
