On November 14, 2006, Alcoa Inc. (“Alcoa”) announced that Charles D. McLane, Jr., 53, Vice President and Corporate Controller, will become Alcoa’s Chief Financial Officer effective January 1, 2007, succeeding Joseph C. Muscari, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, who will retire at the end of February 2007 to become Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Minerals Technologies Inc. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99 and is incorporated herein by reference. Required biographical information for Mr. McLane is contained in the press release.
