The following amendments have been made to the 'Transfer of Treasury Shares' announcement released on 30 August 2024 at 14.37 under RNS No 3728C:

·     The number of ordinary shares transferred from Treasury for the purposes of employee share scheme allotments was  235,006 .

·     Following the transfer of the above treasury shares:

o   3,844,331  ordinary shares of 10 pence each were held in Treasury; and

o   the total number of shares with full voting rights in the Company was  549,747,389 , and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Company announces that on 30 August 2024 the following ordinary shares were transferred from Treasury for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

§ 235,006 ordinary shares at 10 pence per share

Following the above transfer of treasury shares, t he Company's issued capital consisted of 553,591,720 ordinary shares of 10 pence each of which 3,844,331 ordinary shares were held in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of shares with full voting rights in the Company at the above date was 549,747,389 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
