Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them

The Company has been notified that Elizabeth Fenwick, the wife of Robert Fenwick, a director of Howden Joinery Ltd and a person discharging managerial responsibility within the Company, yesterday sold 50,000 ordinary shares in the Company through the London Stock Exchange. The shares were sold at an average price of 518.17p per share.

Following the transaction, Mr Fenwick's total holding of shares in the Company (including shares in his wife's name) is 180,960 ordinary shares (c. 0.03% of the issued share capital, exclusive of treasury shares).
