Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them

The Company has today been notified that Andrew Witts, a director of Howden Joinery Ltd and a person discharging managerial responsibility within the Company, transferred 302,842 ordinary shares of 10 pence each listed against his name to his wife, Lynne Witts, for nil consideration.  

Following the transaction, Mr Witts's total holding of shares in the Company (including shares in his wife's name) is 1,044,050 ordinary shares (c.0.17% of the issued share capital, exclusive of treasury shares).
