Notification of transaction in shares by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

The Company has been notified today that on 5 June 2015 Jayne Hallett, the wife of David Hallett, a director of Howden Joinery Ltd and a person discharging managerial responsibility within the Company, sold 250,000 shares at an average price of 505.66 pence per share.

Following the sale, the total holding of David Hallett (including shares in his wife's name) is 733,337 shares (0.11% of the Company's share capital).
