Notification of transaction in shares by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

The Company was notified on 5 September 2014 that on that date, Mr Mark Robson transferred 12,627 ordinary shares of 10 pence each listed against his name to his wife, Mrs Rachel Robson, for nil consideration.

Following the transaction, Mr Robson's total holding of shares in Howden Joinery Group Plc (including shares in his wife's name) is unchanged at 1,966,020 ordinary shares (c. 0.3% of the issued share capital).
