Notification of transaction in shares by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

The Company was today notified that yesterday Jayne Hallett (the wife of David Hallett, a director of Howden Joinery Ltd and a person disclosing managerial responsibility within the Company) sold 120,000 shares at a price of 324.5 pence per share.

Following the sale, the total holding of David Hallett (including shares in his wife's name) is 870,968 shares (0.14% of the Company's share capital).
