Grant of Options

The Company announces that on 2 July 2013 the following directors were granted awards over ordinary shares in the company of 1p each ("Shares").

Roger Canham was granted 122,699 nil-cost options under the Hornby PLC Performance Share Plan that will be exercisable subject to conditions relating to Total Shareholder Return (TSR) performance and Profit Before Tax (PBT) growth. Mr Canham has a direct holding of 40,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.10% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Mr Canham is Non-Executive Chairman of Phoenix Asset Management Partners Limited ("Phoenix") which currently holds 13.87% of Hornby's issued share capital.

Nick Stone was granted 220,859 nil-cost options under the Hornby PLC Performance Share Plan that will be exercisable subject to conditions relating to TSR performance and PBT growth. Mr Stone has a direct holding of 10,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.026% of the issued share capital of the Company.
