Change of auditor

Hornby plc (the "Company") announces that the Board has approved the proposed appointment of Crowe U.K. LLP as the Company's auditor for the financial year ending 31 March 2020. Crowe's appointment for the following year will be subject to approval by the Company's shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2020.

Accordingly, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the Company's current auditor, has resigned and has confirmed that there are no matters connected with it ceasing to hold office that should be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the Company.
