On November 25, 2015, Hormel Foods Corporation (the Company) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has authorized a two-for-one split of the Company’s common stock. Stockholder approval of the stock split is required during the Company’s upcoming Annual Meeting to be held on January 26, 2016. A copy of the release is furnished as Exhibit 99 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
