SUSPENSION OF TRADING

At the request of China Strategic Holdings Limited (the “Company”), trading in the shares of the Company will be suspended with effect from 10:00a.m. on Thursday, 23 August 2007 pending the release of an announcement in relation to placing of new shares and convertible notes of the Company, both of which are price sensitive in nature.
