RESIGNATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

The board of directors (the “Board”) of China Strategic Holdings Limited (the “Company”) announces that Mr. Zhang Hong Ren (“Mr. Zhang”) has resigned as the executive director and chief executive officer of the Company with effect from 3 October 2008.

Mr. Zhang has confirmed that his resignation is due to his intention to achieve his other personal goal. He has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Board would like to express its appreciation to Mr. Zhang for his past contribution to the Company.

As at the date of this announcement, the Board comprises Ms. Chiu Ching Ching, Mr. Wong Ah Chik, Mr. Hui Richard Rui, Ms. Chan Ling, Eva, Mr. Lee Sun Man and Mr. Chow Kam Wah as executive directors of the Company, and Ms. Ma Yin Fan, Mr. Phillip Fei and Mr. Leung Hoi Ying as independent non-executive directors of the Company.
