Home Invest Belgium appoints Sophie Lambrighs as Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Sophie Lambrighs as CEO. Mrs. Lambrighs will practice her role within a SPRLu of which she is the sole representative.

Mrs. Lambrighs was formerly a member of the Investment Committee of Home Invest Belgium and knows very well the growth strategy of the company and her functioning.

Aged 42 years, Mrs. Lambrighs has started her career within the construction industry, in Brussels and Paris. Before joining Immobel in January 2013 as Advisor and Member of the Executive Committee, she was working since 2003 within the real estate department of AXA Belgium, first as Project Manager and finally as Investment Manager. Mrs Lambrighs was also a member of the Board of the REIT Retail Estates. She has a degree in civil engineering and construction (ULB) and an Executive Master in Management (Solvay Business School).

The Board is pleased to be able to rely on her expertise and competencies with the objective of assuring the continuity of the strategy and will propose her nomination as Member of the Board at the next General Meeting of Home Invest Belgium on May 6th, subject to the approval of the FSMA.

Home Invest Belgium will as of then be managed by 4 effective directors nominated according to article 39 of the August 3rd 2012 law relating to the joined management of certain investment portfolios. Mr Jean-Luc Colson (CFO), Mr Filip Van Wijnendaele (COO) and Mr Alexander Hodac (CCO) will continue to practice their functions next to Mrs. Lambrighs.
