Item 8.01 Other Events

On June 17, 2021, Hologic, Inc. (the “Company”) completed its previously announced acquisition of Mobidiag Oy, a Finnish limited liability company (“Mobidiag”) for an enterprise value of approximately $808 million pursuant to that certain share purchase agreement, dated April 8, 2021, by and among the Company and certain significant equityholders of Mobidiag.
