Holmen establishes staff unit for business development

Holmen is gathering together its business development resources by establishing a new staff unit, Holmen New Business Development.

"Through this new unit, we're reinforcing our work on generating new products, and this will become a more distinct item on the Group management agenda," says Magnus Hall, President and CEO.

Ola Schultz-Eklund, currently managing director at Holmen's paperboard mill in Workington, has been appointed head of the new unit and will form part of Group management. He will take up his post on 1 September. Until that time, the team will fall under Group Technology. Recruitment of a new managing director for the mill in Workington is underway,

In view of this, Ola Schultz-Eklund will also be vacating the post of chairman of the Confederation of Paper Industries, CPI.
