Total Voting Rights and Capital

In accordance with Rule 5.6.1 of the FCA's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules, Hochschild Mining plc ("the Company") advises that, as at 31 October 2013:

(i)   its issued share capital consists of 367,101,352 Ordinary Shares of 25p each with voting rights; and

(ii)  it does not hold any treasury shares.

The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 367,101,352 which is the figure to be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company's shares under the FCA's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
