Item 5.07 Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders

This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends Item 5.07 of the Current Report on Form 8-K, filed by HNI Corporation (the “Corporation”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 12, 2017, relating to the frequency of future advisory votes on named executive officer compensation. As referenced in the original filing, the Corporation's shareholders voted, consistent with the recommendation of the Corporation’s Board of Directors, in an advisory, non-binding vote, in favor of conducting annual shareholder votes on named executive officer compensation. After considering the vote of shareholders, the Board of Directors has determined the Corporation will hold annual, non-binding, advisory votes on named executive officer compensation until the next required vote on the frequency of shareholder votes on named executive officer compensation.
